My Favorites
I'm willing to admit it! I am an enthusiastic collector of anything that soothes my soul, sparks my curiosity, lifts my spirit, and/or motivates me. I have spent years gathering such quotes, poems, books, movies, music and web sites and created an eclectic library of resources.
It is my pleasure to share these links with you. I hope you have fun exploring them. Please feel free to email me with your comments and/or random musings. Enjoy!
Quotes
I have collected hundreds of quotes that touch my heart, tickle my brain and/or inspire me to to live my life more fully and consciously. As you explore the Strive to Thrive web pages, my favorite quotes will appear on a rotating basis to the right. I hope you find a few that call you forth, too!

Movies
The Secret
I first saw this movie the summer of 2006 when I received an email referencing it and a link to watch it for free on the Internet. I found it incredibly compelling and profound. In fact, as I watched it, I kept pausing it to type up notes on the fly. It was chock full of juicy food for thought, and I didn't want to miss one morsel. When it became available on DVD, I purchased a copy to have for my own library and to loan out to my coaching clients. I have watched it several times, and it consistently reinforces the concept that perspective is everything! By the way, it also comes in a book version.

Links to fun and interesting web sites
Body & Soul (Magazine):
I subscribe to this magazine and always find interesting topics within it.
Compendium (Inspirational Gifts):
My personal favorites are the books "Live Good" and "Be" and the "Wonderfuls" postcards
David Whyte (Poet and Inspirational Speaker)
My first exposure to David Whyte was when I heard his recording "Poetry of Self-Compassion." I wept when I heard it, because it resonated very deeply within me. The unique way in which he delivers the works of various poets (as well as his own) and then reinforces the message with his own observations and stories makes for a very profound and moving experience. In addition, I own several of his books and recently had the pleasure of attending one of his weekend retreats.
Fitness Journal (Health and Fitness tool)
I have subscribed to Fitness Journal for over two years. My husband is also a devoted fan. We find it incredibly motivating to be able to monitor our progress and helpful to be able to track various aspects of our health. This is the first tool I've found of this kind that never grows stale. It is constantly upgraded, and they are very receptive and responsive to user feedback.
